• First Holy Communion is celebrated on the First Sunday of May at Saint Aloysius. A parent meeting is held in January in preparation for this sacrament, along with instruction from the school and PSR teachers. On the Saturday morning, a week prior to the reception of First Communion, the children participate in a Jesus Day Retreat. This day adds in a prayerful way, to the preparation of receiving First Communion. Parents are provided important information pertaining to this sacrament well in advance of the reception of First Communion.
